Nice work... gotta love Aphex Twin style bass lines. This is a great cover!

Fubaka responds:

Thank you. Here's hoping he has another iconic piano piece to cover in his next album.

I hope you make an album one day. I'd buy it in a heart beat. I love your style so much. It always makes me nostalgic, happy, and relaxed all in one!

VideoGameManiac responds:

Thank you so much! You are truly my Nr.1 fan!
I actually planned on releasing an album early this year but I cant really tell when its going to happen since Im busy with other stuff. And doing music is like a side hobby of mine, so whenever I feel like messing around with sounds, I do so xd. Anyway its nice to see you again since its been a while :)

This is fucking awesome! Mind if I ask what plug ins you used for the synths? They sound great. Especially in the calm sections of the song.

Acid-Paradox responds:

I used Massive for the chorus synths, Sylenth for the bridge synths and Omnisphere for the break after the first chorus.

Awesome work! The Legacy OST is my favorite work from Daft Punk hands down. Such an amazing body of work. And this is an excellent remake!

Phonometrologist responds:

I appreciate that, and I agree that the soundtrack is amazing--haven't really met anyone that didn't like it really... maybe they're out there.

Nice work! The bass and the drums give it a very distinct 80s vibe! The leads are also nicely put together and the melody goes down very easy. The vocal samples remind me of Michael Jackson for some reason, haha. Which isn't a bad thing. Though I do thing the timing or maybe the words themselves could be used more effectively. The sound quality of the recordings is a bit weak as well. That's about the only part of the song I can critique though. I really like the whole vibe of your song! Nice job, once again!

Tripleton responds:

Thank you man, this is an AWESOME review! In response to my recordings, you're right. When I had the idea of adding additional vocal samples (since I originally started with the opening sample), it was under a different song name (this song has had at least 2 or 3 name changes before I decided on this one and I recorded the sample in another program and chopped it up in the DAW I use. As much as timing goes, I aligned it to go within the same rhythm as the song, but I didn't feel like distorting the sample too much and aligning it over the synths to hit dead on. There were also technical issues I was having within the final stages of the song, such as processor clipping and whatnot, but you get the idea. It was something that needed to be fixed but I didn't mind leaving as it was. :)

Again, thank you for the lovely review! <3

Awesome as usual! Sounds like it has a bit of an Asian influence! Regardless of whether that was intentional or not, I love it!

EctiBot responds:

Thanks for the nice words as always Chemiqals ;). I did actually try to give it a bit of an Asian feel, so I'm really glad you noticed it :D.
I'll definetly keep making music for you to enjoy ;).

Lovely! The instruments you chose go really well together and the arrangement is really nice!

Jay-Turner responds:

Thanks Chemiqals. Glad you like the instruments and enjoyed it :)

Beautiful work! The vocals are amazing!

etherealwinds responds:
