This is awesome! The instrumental reminds me a lot of Combichrist. It's heavy but it also has a good melodic sense. Nice work!

Haha. You know... your instrumentals are actually pretty awesome.

Your lyrics though... well... they're EVEN. BETTER.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

That's hot.

I really love the tone of this track. That rock feeling is really important. It gives it a feeling of... well it's hard to describe exactly. Desperation? Melancholy maybe. Whatever it is, it's not a feeling that you find very often in electronic music. This is just excellent. I'd love to hear more if you decide to add onto it. Honestly not much to critique here. Maybe fade the ending out a little better with some reverb and some room to breath. Other than that... well done.

This is awesome! Really like the vibe that a guitar brings to such an upbeat song.

EctiBot responds:

Thanks Chemiqals :D. Really glad that you liked it ;). I've wanted to use guitars in my music for a long time, so I'm really glad it ended up sounding good :).

Absolutely beautiful. Well done! Talent. Talent everywhere!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you for such a nice comment :3!

This is really cool! I love the entire vibe. The only thing I might mess with is the lead during the first minute and a half. It sounds a little dry in the mix. Maybe just turn the volume down a tad if nothing else. Just a suggestion though. It doesn't sound bad or anything and it didn't even bother me at all after that first minute and a half. Great work overall!

Lethal-Input responds:

Yeah I was trying some weird things with the way I mixed the whole thing. I was pretty much automating a low pass filter a lot in the first half of the song. I also don't think it ended up really helping the track either, but eh. I was experimenting. Thanks for the review!

This is awesome! I agree with Daru, the mixing really does give the impression of a live performance. The instruments sound great too. It reminds me of a lot of classic games from the PS1/N64 era... which makes sense given the source material, haha. You did a good job capturing that sound though. The only thing that I can really criticize is the choir. I'm not sure if it's where they sit in the mix or if it's the velocity sounding a bit unnatural, but maybe it's worth messing around with. Otherwise, it's fantastic! Nice work.

Haha, this is AWESOME. I love the 8 bit sounds. It's almost like this song is of one big memory of playing games as a kid. Really love it.

Nice. I can't wait for No Man's Sky as well! The OST is gonna be epic. This does a great job of capturing what we've heard of it so far!

Lethal-Input responds:

Yeah that game looks too amazing right?? The soundtrack for the game is also going to be procedurally generated (so basically each planet will have it's own unique audio). The musical assets used for the generator will be little broken down bits of the album that 65days is working on for the game. Pretty neat stuff.

Glad you liked it!

I don't even know.
