Those drums though!

This is absolutely beautiful and haunting at the same time.

I REALLY need to learn how to make drum patterns as awesome as yours! Love it, as always!

Thank you very much!
Just play around with those drums :D

Yummy all around. Love the guitar so much!

I really like the melody and the structure of the song. It's very... inspiring? Yeah. It's certainly a feel good song! I feel like the mixing is a bit off but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what's off about it. I think the drums might need a bit of tweaking to get them to blend in with the other instruments a little better. It's really not that big of an issue though. I hardly noticed it by the time I was half way through the song. I'm not that familiar with mixing live instruments and electronic elements so just ignore me if this doesn't even make sense, haha. I really enjoyed it overall!

The mixing is very good! I might up the high end of the kick a bit, but that would depend on how the song would develop. Might not do so if you're gonna have a high clap for instance. Other than that it's well done. Especially the bass and low end. I'd certainly be interested in hearing a full song from this! Well done!

Very cool overall! I have a few suggestions...

-I'd try adding some reverb or some compression to the string/pad that comes in at around 0:27. It sounds a little off because it's a little quiet but also because the piano has a great stereo effect going on making the pad feel small.

- The claps that start around 1:14 are fine at their volume. I don't think percussion needs to be at the forefront of every song personally. That said, I think some reverb would sound great with these claps.

- Finally, I'd really like to hear the Arp at around 2:53 be much more prominent. I think it sounds great and it's sad to hear it get washed out by all the other synths. I actually think it could be the main hook towards the end of the song if you get rid of some of the high end on the other instruments.

Just some personal suggestions! It's a very nice song overall! ^_^

Ah yes, I don;t know why I didn't at least think about reverb for that. The only reason that was the way it was is because my friend wanted me to sidechain the violin, but the better sounding violin sound I used didn't sidechain well because of the attack on it. So I ended up using I worse sounding violin for that part. Thanks for all of your feedback!

Regardless of what genre this may be, I love it! I'm not a fan of labels anyway! The melody is fantastic and so are the instrument choices. As for the soundgoodizer, I used it all the time when I first started out as well. It's a nice way to quickly make things sound more full. But as you learn more and get better with your tools, you'll find that it's much better to EQ and compress everything with more robust plugins. You'll have a lot more control over your sounds and you'll expand your options ten fold. If you're just using it for a few things because you just like the sound, there's nothing wrong with that! But I definitely recommend checking out as many EQ and general tutorials on youtube as you can if you haven't already! You can never know too much!

Thanks Chemiqals! I'll definitely look in to finding better alternatives for mastering for my future tracks.

I don't even know.
